Turks and Caicos Travel Guide
While the majority of the hotels are along Grace Bay Beach, the Shore Club is the first to open on Long Bay Beach—great for those who prefer to avoid crowds and want to feel like they have the beach to themselves.
Most visitors to Provo stay on the popular Grace Bay Club, but the Shore Club—the first hotel on Long Bay Beach on the island’s southeastern coast—will be a game changer. In the past, the only people who have ventured to Long Bay were avid snorkelers and kiteboarders. But owner Stan Hartling fell in love with the space, spending years clearing the conch shells that had piled up on the three-mile-long beach. The pristine sand is just one of the many attractions at the Shore Club. There’s also a large spa, treehouse-themed kids’ club, several cabana-lined pools, a tennis court, and Sui-Ren, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant. The rooms here are beautifully designed and totally modern, with soaring ceilings, white columns, and tons of terrace space. And they’re configured so that up to three bedrooms can be connected—a great option for big groups.
