The World Is Getting Closer to Turks and Caicos Islands: New Nonstop Flights to Turks and Caicos for Winter 2026–2027

The Shore Club Turks and Caicos

There is a moment that happens when you arrive in Turks and Caicos to enjoy both Grace Bay Beach and Long Bay Beach.

The pace changes.

The noise seems to disappear. The horizon opens. The water stretches out in layer after layer of pale turquoise, and suddenly whatever felt terribly important a few hours earlier doesn’t feel quite so urgent anymore.

This is a different side of Providenciales.

And this winter, reaching it is becoming easier from more places than ever.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are welcoming a significant expansion in airlift for the 2026–2027 winter season, including new and expanded nonstop service from Toronto, Ottawa, Denver, Bermuda and Baltimore.

For our guests, that means fewer connections, easier travel and a beautifully simple transition from the real world to one of the Caribbean’s most extraordinary stretches of coastline.

Toronto and Ottawa Get Easier Access to Paradise

Just as temperatures begin dropping across Canada, Porter Airlines will be giving travelers another way to head south.

Beginning November 6, 2026, Porter will operate nonstop service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Providenciales International Airport (PLS) five times each week, with flights scheduled Tuesday through Saturday.

Beginning December 17, the airline will also introduce direct service from Ottawa International Airport (YOW) twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

For Canadian travelers, Turks and Caicos becomes an even easier answer to the annual question: How quickly can we get somewhere warm?

Quite quickly, as it turns out.

A First-Ever Nonstop from Denver

Perhaps the biggest news for U.S. travelers this season comes from the West.

United Airlines will begin the first-ever nonstop service from Denver International Airport to Providenciales on Saturday, December 19, 2026.

The weekly Saturday route is scheduled to operate through April 24, 2027, aboard a Boeing 737 MAX 9.

The approximately five-hour journey is expected to depart Denver around 10:00 a.m. and arrive in Providenciales around 5:00 p.m.

But the importance of the new route reaches well beyond Colorado.

Denver will become the westernmost U.S. city with nonstop service to Providenciales, creating easier access for travelers connecting from destinations throughout the Mountain West, West Coast and Pacific Northwest.

For guests coming from cities where reaching Turks and Caicos once meant multiple flights and a long travel day, this is a meaningful change.

Five hours after leaving Denver, you’re in the Caribbean.

And not long after that, you can be standing on Long Bay Beach wondering why you didn’t come sooner.

Bermuda and Turks and Caicos, Now Directly Connected

Another first arrives on December 18, 2026, when BermudAir begins nonstop service between Bermuda and Providenciales.

Seasonal flights are scheduled into April 2027, creating the first direct air connection between the two island destinations.

BermudAir will also introduce weekly nonstop flights from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)beginning December 24, operating Thursdays through April 29, 2027.

The Baltimore flight is scheduled to depart at 8:10 a.m. and touch down in Providenciales at 11:25 a.m.

That timing deserves a second look.

Depart Baltimore in the morning. Arrive in Turks and Caicos before noon. And then leave the rest of the day beautifully unplanned.

The Reward at the End of the Flight

New air service makes getting to Providenciales easier.

But what happens after you arrive is where the story really begins.

The Shore Club occupies an extraordinary setting on Long Bay Beach, a quieter, more secluded counterpart to the island’s famous Grace Bay.

Here, luxury is wrapped in space.

The beach seems to stretch forever. The water is famously calm and shallow, painted in shades of blue that barely look real. There is room to breathe, room to wander and, perhaps most importantly, room to simply be.

The Shore Club was created for travelers who appreciate that kind of luxury. Not excess for the sake of excess. Rather, the luxury of privacy. Beautiful surroundings. Thoughtful service. Exceptional food. And the increasingly rare feeling that there is nowhere else you are supposed to be.

A Resort Worth Staying In For

There are plenty of reasons to explore Providenciales, but one of the pleasures of staying at The Shore Club is realizing you don’t necessarily have to leave to have an extraordinary day.

Morning might begin with a walk along Long Bay while the beach is still quiet.

Then breakfast, followed by absolutely no rush to do anything at all.

Perhaps you spend the afternoon poolside. Perhaps the beach wins. Perhaps you disappear into a private spa bungalow for a treatment and emerge wondering exactly how long you’ve been gone.

Or for those more adventurous, kitesurfing just might be the perfect fit for your afternoon.

As evening approaches, The Shore Club takes on another personality.

This side of the island is known for its spectacular moonrises over Long Bay, when the moon appears over the water and transforms the entire beach.

Dinner might mean an evening at SUI-REN, where Peruvian and Asian influences meet in one of Providenciales’ most distinctive dining experiences, or a relaxed evening beneath the trees at Almond Tree.

Then there are the little moments in between. A cocktail at The Rope Bar. A long conversation that nobody wants to end. Bare feet. Warm night air. One more look at the ocean before heading back to your suite or villa. Those are often the things guests remember most.

For Those Who Want Even More Privacy

For families and groups traveling together, The Shore Club’s private villas take the Long Bay experience to another level entirely.

With expansive living spaces, multiple bedrooms and the privacy of a true Caribbean residence paired with the amenities and service of an ultra-luxury resort, the villas allow everyone to be together without sacrificing personal space.

Days can unfold entirely on your terms. Breakfast together. Beach when you feel like it. A swim before dinner. A late evening gathering with the people you came all this way to spend time with. No rigid schedule required. Sometimes the greatest luxury isn’t having more things to do. It’s having the freedom to do less.

Grace Bay Beach

For those looking to be in the heart of the action, The Palms and The Sands offer amazing options on world famous Grace Bay Beach.  The Palms provides a more old-world, luxury vibe while The Sands is the ideal affordable luxury option, perfect for families.

Closer Than It Feels

That’s what makes this season’s new airlift so exciting.

Turks and Caicos has always had the ability to feel wonderfully far removed from everyday life. Yet with expanded nonstop flights from Canada and new routes connecting Providenciales with Denver, Bermuda and Baltimore, that sense of escape no longer requires such a complicated journey.

You can leave winter behind in the morning and be looking across Long Bay or Grace Bay later that day.

And once you arrive, the rest comes naturally. The shoes come off. The shoulders drop. The phone gets checked a little less often. Dinner lasts a little longer.

And somehow, without trying very hard at all, you remember what it feels like to have nowhere else you need to be.

The world may be getting closer to Turks and Caicos. But once you arrive the islands still feels beautifully far away from everything.
