Champion of 2025 TCHTA Turks & Caicos National cocktail competition

HUGE congratulations to Putu Hendra Pramana, the Beverage Manager of The Shore Club Turks & Caicos, on becoming the Champion of 2025 TCHTA Turks & Caicos National cocktail competition.  We are honored that Hendra will now represent the Turks & Caicos on the global stage in the Taste of Caribbean Cocktail Championship in Barbados in November 2025.

To earn his win, Hendra presented two cocktails that showcased indigenous local ingredients from the Turks & Caicos, elevated with the story of the farmers market in Providenciales and the sustainability practices at The Shore Club’s bars.

Here are the winning cocktail recipes:  

Farmers Market Colada is inspired by the weekly Farmers Market in Providenciales which supports local farmers.  Located in Kew town, this weekly event showcases indigenous local fruits from the local farmers, such us pineapple, tamarind, and Giunep. “The Farmers Market was my first experience with Giunep in my life, I am so excited to share this fruit with everybody with this cocktail,” said Putu Hendra Pramana.

Beautiful By Nature cocktail is inspired by the motto of Turks & Caicos (beautiful by nature). The cocktail embraces sustainability practices, using fresh ingredients that are often left over from breakfast service at the resorts on the island.

The cocktail blends citrus skin (orange, lemon, and lime) with local coconut water. We sous-vide a green tea infusion with Ketel One vodka, which symbolizes living in harmony, and garnish with pineapple fibers and pastry-style Swiss meringue.
